Hello, I heard about your work from a friend. My name is Marti Johnson and I am a Belmont University student and soon to be graduate. I'll be spending the summer in Gulu and Kampala, Uganda working with orphans and the displaced population. You are such an amazing example of how God uses each of us to fulfill his purpose; how with faith we can all accomplish things bigger than we could ever imagine. Katie, I do not know you, but have come to know your heart through the blogs of the Putty Family and Emily "Team" Alexander. I pray for you constantly for your peace and safety and that you get rest. I only have two children and often feel overwhelmed and it only takes a few minutes reading yoru blog to calm me down and realize,"I can do this, just look at Katie!" You are an angel on this earth.
